The Education Bureau will provide not less than 100 hours of training for all potential Liberal Studies teachers to help them acquire the basic knowledge and skills for teaching the subject. There are five components in the professional development programmes for NSS Liberal Studies: (1) Understanding and Interpreting the Curriculum; (2) Assessing Student Learning; (3) Independent Enquiry Study; (4) Learning and Teaching Strategies; and (5) Enriching Knowledge.
