Objective(s)	In this workshop, participants will learn: • activities to prepare students for debating; • how to set up a debate; • roles of debate speakers; • the elements of a debate; and • how to adjudicate a debate. The workshop should be seen as a brief overview of all these topics – 3 hours is not enough time for participants to take part in many warm-up activities or discuss adjudication in detail, however all these aspects will be touched on during the workshop.
