| Background |
To support teachers in using the right technology at the right time for the right task, the Education Bureau has developed and opened the Depository of Curriculum-based Learning and Teaching Resources for use by all primary school teachers since February 2009. The design of the Depository is based on the Curriculum for Hong Kong primary schools. One of the purposes of the Depository is to alleviate the workload on teachers in preparing teaching resources and to exploit the potential of using IT to enhance learning and teaching. Various types of resources can be found in the Depository, such as interactive stories, online games, interactive exercises, presentations, videos and freeware, which cover different learning targets and objectives of the Primary English Language curriculum. The Depository is still under development and more resources will be uploaded.
