Remarks:   
Background In tandem with the announcement of the fine-tuning of the MOI policy, the EDB is inviting primary schools to apply for the English Enhancement Grant (EEG) to build a solid language foundation for students. Through introducing different support measures, the learning and teaching of English in primary schools can be enhanced while the diversified needs of English learning in secondary schools can be better prepared. 
Objective(s) 1. To enhance the capacity of the participants in conducting holistic planning of the school-based curriculum and improving learning and teaching of the English KLA in their school 2. To address the common concerns schools share and difficulties teachers encounter in writing up the EEG proposals 3. To go through the processes taken in writing up the proposals through provision of examples and hands-on practices 4. To draw participants' attention to the issues to note in the stages of planning, implementing and evaluating the enhancement plan

2. Special Arrangements for Bad Weather

a. Course/Activity in the morning session will be cancelled when Black Rainstorm Warning Signal or Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above is issued at or after 6:30 am.

b. Course/Activity in the afternoon session will be resumed when Black Rainstorm Warning Signal or Typhoon Signal No.8 or above is cancelled at or before 11:30 am. Otherwise, the Course /Activity is declared to be cancelled.

c. Participants will be notified of further arrangement in due course.

3. Car Park Arrangement
No car parks will be provided at venue.
