|Objective(s)||The workshop aims to enhance the capacity of school heads, PSM(CD), panel heads and teachers of primary schools to create and promote healthy eating environment and cultures and to nurture healthy eating habits among students.|
|Programme Description||This is a 3-hour workshop covering contents of: 1. Childhood nutrition and eating problems 2. Results of “The Nutrient Testing of School Lunch in Primary Schools in HK 2013” 3. Roles of teachers, parents and food suppliers 4. Choosing healthy lunch and snacks for school children 5. How to improve and maintain the nutrition quality of school lunch 6. How to select school lunch suppliers 7. How to improve school eating environment with the aids developed by the Department of Health 8. Introduction of ‘EatSmart School Accreditation Scheme’|

1. Prior application is required and walk-ins will NOT be entertained.
2. Applicants will be notified of the application status 7 days before course commencement.
3. The workshop will be cancelled if Typhoon Signal No. 8 or
above / Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is in force at or after 11:30 a.m. on the day of event. Participants will be notified of further arrangement in due course if the workshop is cancelled.
4. No car parks will be provided at the venue.
