Background The education tour is co-organised by the EDB and the Association of IT Leaders in Education (AiTLE). The tour is privately-funded and participants are required to pay for their own expenses of the tour. 
Objective(s) The education tour aims to provide opportunities for participants to:

(1) broaden their horizons on promoting STEM education; and

(2) exchange experiences and strategies of implementing STEM education in schools with the overseas counterparts.  
Programme Description 1. Sharing session on STEM education with the Ministry of Education of Estonia.

2. Visits to schools and a university of Estonia on the practices of implementing STEM education and teacher training.

3. Visits to the Estonia’s STEM-related organisations and educational resources development parties.

Remarks 1. Accepted or rejected applicants and their respective school heads will be notified through the e-Service Portal Account on or before 6 September 2019.

2. Nomination will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis and consideration will also be given to allow more schools to participate.

3. AiTLE is responsible for confirming the final attendance list. It will also be responsible for all the logistic arrangements of this tour and contacting applicants for further details.

4. This is a privately-funded course. Successful applicants will be required to pay for their own expense of the tour including air-tickets, hotel accommodation and traveling insurance etc.
