Background "SoInno Design Education" is a programme developed by Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation to introduce the concept and application of social innovation and design thinking into the secondary school curriculum. This is to complement STEM education in order to strengthen the social and humanity elements and nurture students to be social innovators. 
Objective(s) This course aims at enhancing Liberal Studies teachers' understanding of how to integrate social innovation and design thinking with the teaching of Liberal Studies, with an aim to enable students to understand complex social issues with a people-oriented approach and systematic thought process by visualization and ideate innovative solutions.

Remarks 1.For participants being late for or leaving a session early for 30 minutes or more, their attendance of that session will not be counted.

2. Applicants will be notified of the enrollment result through their e-Services Portal accounts.

3. In case of over-subscription, priority will be given to applicants who rank first in their school nomination list.

4. Special Arrangements for Bad Weather
a. Course / Activity for morning session will be cancelled when Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No.8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is issued from 6:30 a.m. onwards.
b. Course/Activity for afternoon session will be resumed when Typhoon Signal No.8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is cancelled at or before 11:30 a.m. Otherwise, course/ activity for afternoon session will continue to be cancelled.
